IELTS Letters for giving information:
You need to write this type of letters when you want to give some sort of information to someone or reply to a letter that has specifically asked/requested you for providing some information. You can write a letter to your sister and give her some information about how she can get admitted to a particular university or response to a letter that was written to you by a friend who requested you to give him some information about applying to a job. While writing this kind of letter in response to an earlier letter that was written to you, give a clear answer to every question.
Here are a few situations when you might need to write a letter to give information:
# 1. Reply to your friend about how he or she can get admitted to the university you study.
# 2. Response to a friend who would like to apply for a job in your city.
# 3: Inform that bank that information they sent is incorrect.
# 4: Recommend some tourists spots to a friend.
# 5: Give the direction of your house to a friend or relative.
# 6. Give details about an item you want to sell.
# 7: Letter to a newspaper describing a problem in your area.
